“Inside sources claim that “Percy Jackson” star, Logan Lerman has been cast in the Sony reboot of the “Spider-Man” film series. Director Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) is set to helm the first film in what I’m guessing will be another trilogy although that has not been confirmed at this time. The story takes the characters back to high school in the New York City borough of Queens. No word yet on who has been cast as Peter Parker’s love interest Mary Jane Watson formerly played by Kirsten Dunst or his best friend Harry Osborn previously played by Mr. James Franco. Webb is in talks with Avatar director James Cameron to use his cameras and technique to film the entire movie in 3-D.” TheCinemasource.com. I have yet to see “Percy Jackson & The Too Long Title” - but I did see “Gamer” and Logan had a brief role in that film. Logan’s acting skills were decent - but the character he played was rarely seen on screen, so I won’t judge him off of that role. However, he does have a Peter Parker look to him. Lets see what the kid can do. This news should be taken as rumor until an official announcement is made…
